Over the jubilee weekend, cinema audiences can go into the magic forest with Snow White and the Huntsman, or they can visit alien world’s with the long-awaited Prometheus. As an antidote, the streaming picks today will be rooted in the reality of planet Earth and the real life tales that litter it, I’m talking about the documentary.
However, don’t expect to see Bowling for Columbine or The King of Kong anywhere here, you really should have seen those already!

Horror cinema is pretty damn awesome. And as great as this site is, it’s somewhat lacking in information on the interesting and terrifying world of horror movies. Fortunately, like the Man of Steel himself (Reeve, not Cavill), someone has come to the rescue and there’s now a horror columnist in town.
In this column, I’ll update you on the recent developments in the world of horror movies and will also provide a review of a horror film (new or old) at the end in the hope that some of the most frightening movies ever get seen by more people. Directed by: Kirk Jones
Starring: Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez

Well below are three examples that not only buck the trend, but in some cases improve on the films, so click on read more to find out my top three big to small screen adaptations:

So, what happens when you gather the voice talent from hit shows such as Futurama, Batman: The Animated Series, The Fairly Odd Parents, Animaniacs and The Real Ghostbusters, put them in a crowded room at the Emerald City Comic Con and hand them the script to Star Wars: A New Hope?
